Meet your council team
Jess Jennings and Brittany Dawe are co-chairs, with Kaitlin Ring as secretary. All parents and caregivers are welcome at council meetings — even if you missed the first one.
New gym curtains are fully funded
Our community raised the full $8,800 — new gym curtains are fully funded, giving students a better gym for assemblies, performances and everyday play. Installation is being coordinated with the school. Thank you to the families, community groups and Spring Carnival supporters who helped make it possible.
Athletics first
Athletics and physical education resources are among the priorities being discussed for school community fundraising. Specific needs, costs and potential funding allocations have not yet been finalized.
What else is being explored?
Options for improving the gym sound system, external grants for school priorities, and student play opportunities. These are exploratory projects, not approved purchases.
Winterfest is coming
The date is confirmed: Winterfest is on Thursday, December 10, 2026. Event details and activities to be announced. A used-book drive may also take place in November; donation details will follow once confirmed.
Morning Drop-Off & Kiss 'n Ride
Morning drop-off safety and traffic flow have been raised as areas of concern within the school community. Potential improvements, including whether parent volunteers could play a role, remain ideas for discussion. No changes to the current drop-off procedures have been announced.
