Who they are
About school council
A group of parents, caregivers, staff and community members who give families a voice in school life.
What council does
- Shares information with families in plain language
- Gathers parent input and passes it to the principal
- Raises funds for projects that benefit students
- Brings the community together through events
What council doesn't do
- Make staffing, discipline or curriculum decisions
- Handle concerns about individual students
- Approve changes to school operations on its own
For questions about your child, contact your teacher or the school office.
